I got a new sweater to wear this weekend, and while it looks great on the hanger, it looks even better on! It’s time for all of the annual Christmas gatherings when we see family and friends that maybe we haven’t seen since this time last year. Most of my family events are casual and require something that will withstand the wear and tear of carrying packages, and hugging everyone you see! I needed something casual yet stylish to wear all day on Saturday in freezing December weather. I wanted something that could look festive and not require me to have to keep up with my coat as we moved from house to house.

I’m going to wear a festive red turtleneck underneath with a cute and fun penguin broach. I’ll be warm all day not to mention so confident that my rear is not the focal point of the party!! I like the button top and open bottom that will make it perfect for moving around in and will totally hightlight my faded front, wide leg jeans (also from Lane Byant!).
