As some of my readers may recall, Torrid sponsored the House of Dreams Model Search back in July, 2009. Looking for gorgeous, curvy women, applicants were invited to download the entry form and bring it along with a portfolio of photographs to their local Torrid store. With hundred of applicants to choose from, I’m sure the task of picking winners was not easy. However, I’m excited to announce that winners have been selected and are preparing for their first BIG event, the House of Dreams fashion show.
House of Dreams is set to be a memorable evening of fashion, music, art, and inspiration in support of the National Breast Cancer Foundation. The fashion show will feature their 2009 model search winners on the runway in their fall and winter collection and in original gowns created by fashion design students at FIDM–Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising.
