Okay, we talk a lot about clothes around here. In fact, we really like to talk about clothes! However, as I get older (mid 30’s) I’m really starting to be reminded regularly that the most important thing I wear everyday is my skin. No matter what outfit I decide to wear to work, play, rest, or party, the one accessory I have every day is my skin. So, of all the ways I seek to enhance my beauty and accent my style, my skin should get the most attention.
Do you have a skin care regimen? Do you wash, tone, and moisturize at least twice per day. Are you exfoliating regularly? What about microdermabrasions, mask treatments, acid peels, etc.? Do you have a good all over body lotion that you use regular? Are you using sunscreen to protect your skin from harmful UV rays? That’s a lot to think about, but if your skin is the most important thing you will wear today, shouldn’t you take very good care of it? I would recommend that all of my Cherry Heels readers take an audit of your skin care activities. Try to get into a routine that allows you to focus on the needs of your particular situation and skin type. Seek products that fit your budget and take care of your most precious accessory. Now, to be honest the section only has a few simple, but very cute, Disney tees; however, it is certainly a start. I’m thrilled to bring my Disney readers a few nice items that are sized to fit. Okay, no merchant to promote or sale to share, just a bone to pick, if I may. I have been reviewing merchants, products, and prices for Cherry Heels readers for almost a year. That’s really exciting now that I think of it! Today, I was reviewing a merchant, who will go unnamed, and I just have to say I have had all I can take of the mini models in curvy clothes! This particular merchant was for underwear, lingerie, shapewear, and swimwear for both sexes and every size including kids. When reviewing such a broad site, I like to make sure that the plus sized offering is complete enough to be worthy of a mention here.
So, I go to what this particular merchant calls the “fuller figure” section. What do I find? Well, it wasn’t a bunch of full figured women that’s for sure. There certainly were a number of very cute items to choose from; however, I like to know that the clothing being sold actually looks good on and is cut to fit those who need larger sizes. It’s a real turn off for me to go through pages and pages of “fuller figured” clothing only to see all of it modeled on women half my size. Not only is it sad to me that larger models are not being featured, it is also difficult to feel comfortable buying something online that I haven’t even seen appropriately modeled.
